In a ten team you are weak in saves and wins. Pettite could help you there, but your top pitchers all will likely finish with less then 16, and most around 12 (Bedard, Kazmir, Felix).

But good mix of power bats and speed guys that your offense should help you out alot.

I like your strategy, 6 rounds of hitting, 5 rounds of pitching, then back to hitting. A good solid approach.

thanks for the input! I was not realy trying to chase wins here, but if Prior and Escobar have good seasons some low win players might be out of my lineup (and I know Prior will be healthy when pigs fly.)

It looks like your guys can mash but you may be hurt in BA and SB. Maybe try to pick up someone with less power who can help you out in these categories.

How do you think that I could improve my ba?

I love how you picked Pujols, Hafner and Vlad with your first three. Offense first and you don't get better than that. What SPs were there in round four and five though? I think you may have wanted to get an SP at that point, probably Schmidt in round five. If a guy like Oswalt was still there in rd 4 I would have done that....

I really dislike Burrell. His average is always bad and it seems like there has gotta be other guys who can get you 20-25 and 90 with better average. Maybe try to get Hawpe for Burrell? Since you do need SB and AVG apparently...maybe try to get a guy like Chris Duffy. I am from Pit and saw what he did late last year. I think he can do it again this year. You have enough offense, you don't need Burrell's bat.

Ha, Prior. It's so hard to lay off guys like that. I'm a big A's fan and I've taken Harden the past two years....I am tempted to try him again this year!

i like the team.. atkins in the 5th is a great pick.. he hasn't lasted that long in any draft i've seen this year... that is a steal.. your K's are going to be really high..

I am interested in your keeper league... My email is mailto:jburns@nec.edu just give me the info if you still have a spot...

Anything else? Should I try to improve on anything?
