I've heard of the "Baby Boom", but I guess 20 years or so ago, we started the "2B Boom". Lol.

Rickie Weeks went 3-for-5 yesterday to raise his AFL average to .321.
Weeks, the second overall pick in this year's draft, has just two extra-base hits (both doubles) in 56 at-bats, but he has a .437 OBP and seven steals to go along with his nice average. Although the second baseman is almost certain to begin next year in the minors, there's a pretty good chance that he'll take over as a regular for Milwaukee before the end of the season.
