The St. Louis Post Dispatch reports that only a few players are not available for deals this offseason.

Even Morris is available apparently.

Personally I think this is a good thing, but Morris I would want to keep. Hopefully they will find a good 2B in addition to the pitching. Bo Hart is not a starter caliber player, IMO.

Should be plenty of wheeling and dealing for the Cards. If I was them, I'd hang on to Woody Williams and Morris, no matter what, along with the hitters they mentioned.

Were Edmonds traded, J.D. Drew would become the first choice to inherit center field. Jocketty and manager Tony La Russa chose not to deal Drew before last July's waiver deadline. Arbitration-eligible after the least productive of his five seasons, Drew may represent a bargain in 2004 as he approaches free agency.

looks like the Cardinals will be busy this offseson. But I disagree with Drew ever being a Bargain.
