OAK + TEX

C: Barrett
1B: D. Lee
2B: Cantu
SS: Upton...take advantage of the position eligibility
3B: ARam

Util: I have no idea...maybe Murton? Floyd? Gomes? Not pretty...

SP: CZam
SP: Kazmir
SP: Prior !+)
SP: Lilly :-P
RP: Howry
RP: Ohman
RP: Eyre

We're punting saves...it's just not pretty there.

I wouldn't use Kerry Wood, he is going to be a good closer for the cubs ;-D

I don't think Wood's arm will hold up to 3 days in a row like closers need to do on occasion. I'd prefer to see him used in a unique way for modern pitchers...2-3 innings every 3 days or so. I think he could be highly effective in that role, could log about 50 appearances and get about 100-150 innings in those games giving the Cubs some high quality middle relief innings. Heck, you could even 'close' with him on those days bringing him in for some 3 inning saves. But as a traditional closer? That scares me.

New York, New York

C: Posada
1B: Delgado
2B: Cano
3B: A-Rod
SS: Reyes
LF: Matsui
CF: Beltran
RF: Abreu
UT: Wright

SP: Pettitte
SP: Mussina
SP: Glavine
SP: Wang
SP: O.Hernandez
RP: Rivera
RP: Wagner
RP: Farnsworth
RP: D.Sanchez

I'm sure that will cause a little controversy. In fantasy I'd take Reyes, but for a real team I'd take Jeter.

Bit of a shame neither one has a slugging 1B or catcher, but that pitching is sick.
