You'd be joining the second year of a very active (and honestly most fun league I've ever participated) 12-team keeper hosted on Sportsline.
Since you'd be taking over the team that finished in last place last year, you'd have your choice of draft position (not merely the 1st pick, but you get to choose wherever you want to draft)
The league fee (including site fee) will be between $225-$250 of which about 70% goes to the winner and 3rd place gets their money back.
The draft is right now tentatively scheduled for 3/28 at 8PM.
* Roto, no playoffs
* 5x5 with OPS instead of BA
* 27 round draft with 9 active pitchers and 12 active hitters (regular spots + CI, MI, and an extra UT spot)
* 8 man minor league system (which you can freely add/drop as you want)
* Keeper pentalty is round drafted + 3 each year. Free agents cost a 15th round pick, minor leaguers cost a 27th round pick. You can keep players for three years.
Some of the likely keepers on the team you'd be taking over (round you'll have to give up to keep them). You can only keep 6
Howie Kendrick (27)
Raul Ibanez (18)
Mike Mussina (17)
Juan Rivera (15)
Joe Crede (15)
Ivan Rodriguez (9)
Chuck James (15)
Jose Contreras (15)
If you wanted to keep Crede, Juan Rivera, and Jose Contreras, you'd have to give up your 13, 14, and 15th round picks.
You also would have the following minor league system, which automatically carries over as long as the player still qualifies as a rookie:
No rookies, or amateurs, please let me know that you'll not be the one to drop out next year after finishing in last place.
PM me and I'll respond and send the constitution during non-work hours
