Licence to Kill started in such promising fashion, but it drags a bit in the middle. It's one of the more underrated films in the series, that and The Living Daylights. That would be the one where Wayne Newton had a minor role in it (he wasn't the main villain) and if anything, he was the only comic relief in the movie. Bless your heart!
A View to a Kill was laughably bad (Christopher Walken), although still manages to be enjoyable.
Like I said I haven't watched many of the pre-Brosnan films start to finish or multiple times. Difficult to keep the different plots and characters separate outside of a couple of the better older Bond films. Dalton is though.
