Hot Fuzz 5/10 (C-)
I didn't really enjoy Shawn of the Dead, but I was hoping I'd like this better, which I did kinda. There was some funny stuff and some good lines, but I really don't like comedies mixed in with horror/gore.

Blues Brothers 7/10 (B-)
Classic movie, sure I don't enjoy some of the music scenes, but its a fun watch

2001 A Space Odyssey 9/10 (A-)
Another classic. Very confusing and symbolic

Beavis And Butthead Do America

I haven't seen this for quite a while , and it's still as good as ever.
Cornholio bursting into the cockpit of a plane = hilarious
Cornholio wandering around the white house = hilarious
Conrholio = hilarious

9/10

I saw the DragonLance movie tonight. It went straight to video and it was awful. I was excited about Kiefer Sutherland playing Raistlin but he was one of the worst parts. 4/10 :-/

Holy crap, I didn't even realize they adapted the books into a movie. I guess I don't understand something after watching the trailer. This movie was made in 2007 right? Why in the world did they use 1980s TV cartoon animation style? It looks like they have the same artists who did Thundercats.

I know it and have no idea. A lot of it looks just like the 80s D&D cartoon. I expected it to be cutting edge animation but it's not even close. The really odd thing is that all of the dragons and draconians are rendered with 3D CG (or something) and superimposed on the 2D. :-/

Cloverfield... I haven't seen it yet, but I'm reading the reviews. This is a spoiler, but I feel it's important enough to share without having even seen the movie. I have base expectations from movies, and this is one of them that, apparently, the movie doesn't meet.

Spoiler below. Quote post to read it (what freakin' color code do I use to match this blue background???).

They didnt even give you insight as to what [the monster] was, where it came from, or anything.

I'm still going to see the movie, because the people that got over the shaky-cam still enjoyed it as a thriller. That filming style doesn't bother me too badly, so I'll be going but with lowered expectations.
