Anthony? Wanna play in my money league? ;-7

Sure.

On Rototimes and Rotospin Reyes earned the second most in standard 5x5 last year. With a $260 cap and a 65/35 split Reyes earned $38 last year and Pujols earned $39.

I thought you meant Anthony Reyes. :-D

You want to play in my money league? I'll spot you half of the entry fee.

Funny, straight after the playoffs, lots of people were posting rankings with A-Rod in the middle or bottom part of the first round. Where are they all now?

Emotions got the best of them. :-D

By the same token, I seem to recall people were virtually universally putting Howard in the top three. Any of those guys around?

I like how the Cafe' has tons of different opinions on this one. Many people are sold on their players strongly on this one.

How about a consensus top 5 or 6 instead?

Tier 1:Pujols (obviously)

Tier 2:A-Rod
Santana
Cabrera
Reyes
Howard
Giles :D

What order would you put them?

I'd probably take Arod with 2nd overall

I'm surprised how much love Reyes is getting

When in doubt, go with A-Rod as he is good-looking, biracial, makes the most money and plays on the most popular team :-D

Seriously, I'd go w/ A-Rod here just because as others have pointed out last year was his down year, which was pretty damn good, and his upside is best player in the game. Can't argue w/ anyone who would take Johan at #2 as he is head and shoulders above every other SP. I'm surprised at all the love Jose Reyes is getting as well.
My top 6 as of today:

1)A.Pujols
2)A-Rod
3)D.Ortiz
4)A.Soriano
5)J.Santana
6)R.Howard

I'm not at all. He wins you one category hands-down (SB), has very good power numbers for a SS, hits .300, and gets runs like nobody's business setting the table for LoDuca, Beltran, Delgado, and Wright.

I would not be surprised at all if he is the #2 player by the end of the year, but I don't think I'd put him there now.
