ah come on, the next thing you guys are going to try and tell me is that all 14 of those HR's were in blow out situations and he was just padding his stats once the games were decided. :-o

This topic wounds me deeply. During August and September, the word was that Arod was a 2nd round pick or so and I was so looking forward to taking Arod and Vlad with the 12th and 13th picks in a draft next year. ;-7

Arod is still my #2 overall pick in a redraft league next year, even though I probably would take Mcab 2nd overall in a keeper.

Santana is the gold standard.

No other pitcher is even close and now he actually has some offensive support, which should prop up his W total.

Sure.

On Rototimes and Rotospin Reyes earned the second most in standard 5x5 last year. With a $260 cap and a 65/35 split Reyes earned $38 last year and Pujols earned $39.

You know Mook you raise a good point. As much as I enjoyed having Reyes on my team this year, I could see taking him as high as #2. Maybe. You just risk so much by going for a speed guy early. He'd certainly still have some value if he did get a leg injury, but wouldn't be anywhere near as valuable as he is with 50 or 60 SBs... :-?

Johann Santana has been head and shoulders above everyone else besides Pujols.

He's an obvious #2 overall pick.

I look forward to him falling to me in several drafts next year.
