Final line for Odalis tonight:

1 inning, 5 hits, 1 bb, 4 er, 1 k.

I really hope that no one started him tonight.

guily. ive got 15 starts this week if all of my guys take their second starts (my guess is i'll get 12 starts) i need to make up 2 wins on 1 guy and 1 win on someone else.
problem is my WHIP is 0.001 better than the guy in first overall and I need to maintain that while i pitch a million innings.
Odalis didnt start the week off well.

Why was he pulled after one inning? Is something wrong with him ?(possibly explaining why he got torched?)

Looks like you lost the lead in whip :-/ . I haven't seen anything to suggest that he has an injury. Maybe just give him some extra rest for his next start.

It was an injury! Here's what I found:

Perez leaves game with finger injury

September 22, 2003
SAN DIEGO (AP) -- Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Odalis Perez left Monday night's game against San Diego after one inning, apparently with a finger injury.

The team didn't immediately say why Perez left, but he had been scratched from his scheduled start last Wednesday because of a broken nail on the middle finger of his pitching hand.

Perez allowed hits to the first five batters he faced, including a three-run homer by Phil Nevin. After Nevin's homer, a trainer came out and looked at Perez's hand, but he stayed in and allowed a single to Xavier Nady on his next pitch.

Perez left trailing 4-0 after allowing five hits, walking one and striking out one. Edwin Jackson came on to start the second.

Looks like his next start might be questionable. :-?

Ooops! I forgot to log on. The previous post is mine. ;-)

And now he may be questionable 8-o for his next start this week?

Winning my league's championship just took a turn for the worst. :-/

I bet JDH started him. He loves this guy. I think he is good at times, overrated, and inconsistent. Do you still have him in your rotation JDH? Remember our debate in late June?
