Stand up for the Champions!

I just won my 10-team H2H league (finished 2nd regular season)

In a 12-team H2H league I came in 3rd (finished 1st regular season -- my Championship round stats would've crushed either of the Championship game teams)

Not too shabby for a first try at Fantasy Baseball. I get a laugh going back and reading my first "Rate my Team" here for my Championship squad. The first reply trashed my team, saying that Thome and Hafner were useless because of injuries, Furcal couldn't hit in Dodgers stadium, and Utley was overrated. Fortunately he was wrong :-)

Just won my roto league, on the very very last day. It took some weird thing that happened with the WHIP stat, and 7 total RBIs from my dudes. This was a league i had given up on about halfway through the season when i was toiling in 6th-8th place! I don't consider it my main league, but it is still sweet. ;-D

Won the inagural season of a 12 team h2h keeper league. Big two week battle, my team was in first all year, and pulled out an 8-6 championship victory w/o Hafner, Halladay, and Papelbon for the final two weeks.

I didn't want to say anything earlier for fear of jinxing it, but I just won my Yahoo consolation tournament 7-5-0 after being down 8-3-1 at the end of last week. I swept the pitching cats and won runs by just two.

This was my first Yahoo league, and I hadn't realized that the last round was two-weeks long. I played differently in that first week and ended up digging a huge hole. I was able to work my way around it, though, and 7th place never felt so good!

First year of a 8 team, 16 catergory ROTO league.
Out of a possible 128 points, I finished in first with 105. Second place was close with 99.

Thanks to all the help from everyone here at the CAFE. I couldn't have done it with out you!!!

Won a couple of public leagues, but big who cares? This was only my second season, so i kinda feel like i've 'graduated' from pub leagues now.
