Is it ok to bunt with two outs in the 9th inning to break up a no hitter
how about intentionally walking a guy in the last game of a season so he cannot improve his batting average and thus take the batting title

Is it ok to bunt with two outs in the 9th inning to break up a no hitter when your team is down 10-0? Is it ok for a pitcher to intentionally plunk a batter for no reason other than he might not personally like the guy? Is it ok for a player to steal second base when his team is up 10-0 in the late innings?
All of those things are "legal" in baseball's rules, but that in no way means they are the "ethical" thing to do.
i dont think bunting with 2 outs in the 9th of a no-no is unethical. i think its a silly call to make and just plain stupid.
It clearly falls under the "unwritten rule" category. Is there a thread anywhere about these unwritten rules in baseball. If not, someone list a few. It would be a good read.
