He throws with his tongue hanging out - more than Michael Jordan - so the Mets made him get a mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is solid blue, but has ample room for some kind of endosement, or just a Mets logo.
I like Pelfrey, but I'm not as high on him as most people. I don't think his numbers are that impressive for a 22-year-old in AA (1.30 WHIP, .244 BAA). He has only pitched in the minors for one year, though, so who knows if he will come through with some adjustments in 2007.
He's on my third tier of prospects right now; second tier for most people.
