Well next year it really depends on the vets in front of him. Nomar being the biggest hurdle, though if he stays healthy his price will keep going up for next year ... something I'm not sure the Dodgers want to pay with Loney in the wings. Also he has been getting time in the OF, but I don't see much room there next year w/ Eithier/Kemp/Drew.
Loney has been a pretty good prospect since he was drafted, but for some reason or another never really played to his potential till now. He is a pretty big kid with a nice strike, will probably never be a big power guy though ... maybe topping out in the low to mid 20 range. Where he does really exel at though is his plate discipline and hitting for average. For fantasy he might not be to useful until he has had a few seasons in the majors, considering the ideal lack of hr's for a 1B.
