Better Keeper Option Longoria or .....?

Postby ScotteyTooHotty » Mon Aug 07, 2006 6:20 pm

Zumaya. I am in a 12 team H2H Keeper League where we retain every player and have 10 deep prospect roster. We also have a prospect draft every midseason and preseason. I am looking to add Zumaya to strengthen up my RP position for the future. I am a little hesitant as my team is in a rebuilding mode and i will not be competitive until 2008 most likely and i am in strong need of hitting. Also Longoria might possibly move to 2nd which would help a lot as Felipe Lopez i believe will not be eligible for that position next year.

The trade for Zumaya would have to involve Longoria and possibly my 3rd rd pick or Neil Walker. Should I do it?

My Team:

C-Jorge Posada
1B-Mike Jacobs, Nomar Garciaparra
2B-Felipe Lopez, Chris Burke
3B-Adrian Beltre, Edwin Encarnacion
SS-Hanley Ramirez, JJ Hardy
OF-Ken Griffey Jr., Aubrey Huff, Jim Edmonds, Jonny Gomes, Nelson Cruz,
SP-Justin Verlander, Jered Weaver, Brandon McCarthy, Gil Meche, Ian Snell, Jamie Shields, Tim Hudson
RP-Ambi Burgos, Armando Benitez, Eddie Guardado

Prospects: Luke Hochevar, Evan Longoria, John Danks, Neil Walker, Shin Soo Choo, Fernando Cabrera, Brian Anderson

Please help and leave a link i will respond.

as nasty as Zumaya has been, I'd keep Longoria. He is hitting the cover off the ball and has been promoted to AA. Watch out BJ Upton :-D
