Especially with Colon iffy now Saunders becomes crucial

And I didn't want to trade good prospects for rentals, and Abreu is on the decline. I'd have liked to grab a Craig Wilson type cheap, but we're still in good shape... I think Rivera and Kendrick are the big bats we've been saying we needed. Figgy is hitting better. IF GA stays healthy, and if Nappy finds his power stroke again, that's just icing on the cake, He's still good with the glove and still takes a lot of walks even though he's slumping now.

I think the AL West is ours, and once it is playoff time, its basically a 3 man rotation, maybe 4, so Saunders moves to the bullpen and maybe Escobar. And the top two guys are Lackey and Weaver.... and with a better bullpen with a starter there, that covers out biggest weakness.

And Maybe Colon comes back.

Then it's just going to come down to who's hot in October, and that's anybody's guess. We're the hottest team in July, so that's a good sign. taking two of three in Fenway is no small feat... And we cou've easily swept that series too.
