Offense falling apart

Postby Ed Koch » Mon Jul 24, 2006 12:09 pm

I'm in second place, but if you're not worried about your lineup, you're not in the game.

Also, OPS replaces AVG in THIS league (see signature).

C- I. Rodriguez (no problem here)
1B- D. Lee (loses PT to rest his wrist)
2B- M. Lowell (not as hot- is Jose Lopez better)
3B- G. Atkins (no problem here)
SS- M. Tejada (no problem here)
OF- C. Lee (no problem here)
OF- B. Hawpe (not a great player, just good)
OF- C. Crisp (soon, soon, soon)

BN- J. Varitek (WTF?)
BN- R. Freel (should play more often)
BN- K. Youkilis (in a slump but is a backup to Lee)

SP- R. Johnson
SP- B. Arroyo
SP. A. Reyes
SP- D. Bush
SP- C. Lee
SP- J. Smoltz
SP- J. Lester

RP- H. Street
RP- T. Saito
RP- A. Otsuka

There are some offensive options on the wire that I might want to give the 3rd OF or Util job to. Just not sure about the long term prospects of what I'm working with.

Mike Cameron
David DeJesus
Andre Ethier
Lyle Overbay
Randy Winn
Craig Monroe
Reed Johnson
Brandon Inge
Damn you, Randy Johnson.

I think your offense is fine. I'd play Youkilis at Util, though. He's starting to heat up again.

As far as your pitching, see if you can replace Reyes. He might be a good one, but not this year.

Thanks for your help with mine.
