i think he is out for this year AND part of next year...

Devil Rays closer Tyler Walker had Tommy John surgery Thursday on his right arm by Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala. His expected recovery time is 12 months.
(Updated 07/06/2006).
Consider the reliever out for 2006 and likely 2007 at this point. Cut him and ignore him in all Fantasy leagues. His career could be over, because frankly it was near its end anyway.
