3 starts now....he looks pretty good.
He made one mistake last night. Just one. And Thome took it yard, I feel bad for the kid he earned a no hitter last night.

the cards gm says he expects reyes to stay in the rotation the rest of the year.

you can expect similar results although obviously he isnt going to throw one-hitters every time. he gets a decent amount of k's, hardly walks anyone, and will give up the occasional long ball because he sometimes likes to throw the high fast ball. he is polished and poised. he is a pitcher, not just a thrower. should be a solid pickup in any format. must have in NL only although if there is any kind of depth he should have been gone in NL only leagues by now.

Something to note:
Except for the error and mistake to Thome, he threw a perfect game. 8-o

yeah and since he was the losing pitcher of a complete game he only faced 26 batters. whats the record for fewest batters faced in a complete game?

Here's some of Anthony's recent minor league #s (2004 - 2005):

Code: Select all
AAA: 3.64 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, 9.51 K/9, 2.38 BB/9, 0.91 HR/9, 7.34 H/9
AA: 2.91 ERA, 1.01 WHIP, 12.35 K/9, 1.57 BB/9, 0.36 HR/9, 7.51 H/9

He's legit, and if he's staying in the rotation for the rest of the season, he's pretty much a must own in all formats, especially keepers.
