CBS Sportsline Updated 06/24/2006

Seth McClung threw two perfect innings, including two strikeouts, in his first outing with Durham on Saturday.

McClung is being seasoned in the minors to become the Rays' closer. His fastball can reach the upper 90's. He's worth adding in deeper AL-only leagues that reward saves heavily in looks toward the future.

No word on when he'll get the call...

This appeared on Yahoo today about Tyler Walker:

The St. Petersburg Times' Marc Topkin reports Tampa Bay Devil Rays CL Tyler Walker (elbow), on the disabled list since June 14 because of a right elbow strain, said he had a setback last week in Miami throwing a bullpen session. The team is concerned enough that Walker will fly to Birmingham, Ala., to see famed orthopedic surgeon James Andrews on July 5.

Looks like his return could be delayed a long time, possibly.
