Where can I upgrade?

Postby bjc3345 » Sat Jun 10, 2006 5:06 pm

This is a 12 team non keeper pts league. I am in 1st place by a stretch - but am sitting here making absolutely no moves and I feel like I should at least be considering doing something. I do have an extra SP that I can maybe trade b/c I am already on track to exceed the innings limit. Any suggestions on any position I should consider upgrading?

thanks - please post link.

You do have a very good lineup. You might want to upgrade your catcher. I think if you trade Randy Johnson and Jorge Posada you could very easily upgrade your Catcher. You could probably get a Mauer or Hernandez + another decent player (especially if they are die hard yankee fans). You might even get Soriano if you throw in a Figgins or someone along those lines from somebody that drastically needs pitching or is just stupid. The only thing that I see that is holding you down is Bonds. He is old and weak. I doubt that he hits 25 homers this year. I would try to trade him off. the only thing that is wrong with your pitching is Wood. I would trade him now before he goes on the DL for the rest of the year. Lets face it, he will never be the same.

I think your SP has a few questions marks with age and whatnot, I love the offense though, aside from Bonds. I'd stay put.
