Umm i hope i read the right article. The only comparison he made was that he felt some wierd tingling sensation right before Daryl would hit a hr, and that he did too when Lastings hit that hr against SF...

That is an awesome quote. Too bad, like many great ones he succumbed to the pleasures of money.....

I concur. Hopefully he'll stay in right permanently once Xavier returns.

OK, I'm desperate for SBs ... Mets fans, can you tell us how aggressive Randolph is with the steal sign ... the Mets a running team or not? ...

Hypothetically, if Milledge stays in the 8 hole for the rest of the season, how many SBs would you guess? I know he was 8 for 14 not too good in the minors.

Thanks in advance!

The Mets are a running team. If Lastings stays in the lineup everyday he'll get you some steals, although not as many as he would if he wasn't hitting in front of the pitcher.

Will Milledge last for the rest of the season in NY or will they demote him when Nady/Floyd return?

Minaya was on the radio today and said he will be sent back to AAA.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

That is the million dollar question right now. My guess is that he will stay up at least through their interleague games since Nady or Floyd could DH which would keep him up through the end of June.

My hope is that they send him down but that is just because I can only keep him as a minor leaguer in my keeper league if he stays under 130ab until after August 12th. :)
