Useless Trivia of the day
England's Worcester Canoe Club set the world record for paddling a hand-propelled bathtub. The 25 man team covered a distance of 55 miles, 425 yards in 24 hours on September 28 and 29, 1979.
Doesn't hurt that his first game back was against SD so my excitement's tempered a bit but yes, solid solid start. Too bad it looks like the bullpen's going to blow it for him
Prior, who's that???
Just kidding, yes, it looks like he's back and I am ahuge fan of his, even though I don't own him in any leagues. I would like to, but he will be very special in the upcoming years. Him and Harden are gonna be two very special studs coming up.
Guthrie is now my friend... The Cubs offense (which has incidentally scored fewer runs per game than the maligned Pirates if I remember correctly) scraped up one run in support of Prior, who only went 6 innings on 79 pitches with his pitch count limit. Farnsworth did his best to blow the lead, leaving the bases loaded with one out for Guthrie in the bottom of the seventh, but Guthrie got a K and a groundout to end it. Now if only the Cubs can put up some more offense ...

Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
