Postby Guest » Mon Aug 04, 2003 5:00 pm

[b]I currently have Cattalonato at 2nd Base but he has been absolutley killing me this past month. Who would give me better numbers the rest of the way....Cintron or Hudson?

catalanotto is a good august hitter, you might want to stick with him, but otherwise, I think cintron is a wee bit better than hudson. hudson will really only give you a decent average and runs with a steal here and there but I like cintron a little better, he doesnt walk too much and surprisingly doesnt even k that much either.

tough question...hudson is in the FAR superior lineup, but has struggled lately. cintron may start showing once again why all the fuss over him when he was called up....he's got some power. both are really in no danger of losing their jobs now that the d'backs IF has settled. they are pretty similar players; cintron's advantage is position eligibililty flexibility (say that 3 times fast!) i would hesitantly say cintron, but they are very close.

I'd either stick with Cat or go with Cintron.

Are you dropping Cat? Tough call if that is the case. If you can live with no steals, Cintron is pretty dependable. I don't think his avg has dropped much below .300 since he's been up. It hasn't been much above .300 either.
