Just a heads up....with Lima on the DL the Royals are calling up Jimmy Gobble from AA Wichita. Gobble has a 3.19 ERA and a 100/40 K/BB ratio. He's considered an uberstud...someone to keep your eye on.

Thanks for the heads-up! ;-D

Gobble never got much press in the minors, for some reason, but his upside is fantastic...

KC fans sure know about him....he had a 1.33 ERA in his last 6 starts. I'm not sure if he's another Harden, but he's got the potential.

How about 6 shutout innings and a W for a major league debut. ;-D

He has solid control and pitched his way out of a jam. But, he was facing the lowly D-Rays. Nonetheless, with all of the fine rookie pitchers chiming in this year, Gobble is worth noting.

I might pick him up in the league I have Hudson in, just for the team name possibilites having Tim-may and Gobbles re-united.

LOL

Yeah I was wondering ... I am not a big AL guy but there wasn't nearly the hype for Gobble as for Harden ... At least there is a groundswell here.
