Imagine if they were somehow morphed together into some sort of super-base stealer dude....

I like Ichiro, but I'm an M's fan...
Ichiro gets a lot more hits, but a lot less SBs...

Pierre steals like a hoarding drug addict...

Depends on what you need.

I need SB,Runs, and Avg

From here on our Im not sure Ichiro is better because Ichiro has been down lately and last year he hit 280 after the break. Pierre beat Ichiro in Sb,Runs,Avg the over the last month

If you want your league's SB title, take Pierre.

If you want someone who can occassionally jack one over the wall and give you more RBI's (because he doesn't have a pitcher batting in front of him) take Ichiro.

I like Ichiro better than Pierre. Pierre is basically a straight stolen base specialist that won't hurt your batting average. Ichiro is much more, because not only does he steal an excellent number of bases, but he also is a perennial batting average title contender. His extremely high batting average makes it easier for you to carry guys like Sexson, who have excellent power but are a batting average drain, because his high average offsets the lower batting average.

You can also have Ichiro and then always pick up a cheaper SB specialist like Sanchez, Brian Roberts or Carl Crawford cheaply or off waivers when you need SBs.

For your overall needs, it is definetly Ichiro.

I say Juan Pierre, he steals a ton of bases, never strikes out, and can only help you in average. The main reason however is due to the price for which you can acquire Pierre. Lots of people overpay for Ichiro whereas with Pierre you should be able to pick up relatively cheaply in most leagues.

Not anymore. I gave Pierre and got Sheffield straight up about 4-5 weeks ago. Pierre's value has skyrocketed in the last couple of months. Anyone who can win a catagory all by himself is very valuable and a lot of owners are starting to realize just how valuable Pierre is this year.
