Nomo Vs. Maddux

Postby Transmogrifier » Fri Aug 01, 2003 2:45 pm

What does everyone think? I got burned last night starting Wade Miller last night against the Braves, but Nomo has been on fire. Remember that dual with RJ?

Anyway, I think I have to start both because in my head to head I need the potential win... and with my ERA being killed from Wade, I'm not too worried about it.

But, if I had to choose, which would you pick?
I'm back. Sorta.

Do not boo Johnny.

If I were you, I would bench nomo, but I can understand why you would start him under the given circumstances. He certainly won't give up as many runs as whitey did last night but I still don't have a good feeling about starting him against atlanta.

Since you are not worried about era, then I'd start both. If I could only pick one to start, it would be Maddux.
