Berroa or Aurilia

Postby crazybob60 » Fri Aug 01, 2003 9:11 am

I've got both of them but am pondering on which to activate for the week. Berroa has been sorta hot while Aurilia has his days.

Berroa... he's been better all season, no reason not to go with him here. Aurillia's big year in 2001 is looking more and more like a fluke than the norm. Berroa should be a solid SS for years to come.

berroa without a doubt. like pilambp said, 2001 looks like a fluke year for aurillia. berroa should continue to put up good to excellent numbers for the rest of the year. his slugging numbers keep on increasing. he might not have the big name like aurillia, but by this time next year, berroa will be recognized as a premier fantasy SS (tier belows the arods and nomars)

I just dropped Aurilia for Berroa today. I got tired of waiting for Rich to get his sh@% together. He's been really frustrating this year.

not saying he will turn out to be an mvp candidate, but berroa reminds alot of tejada did a few years ago. it took awhile for people to realize how good tejada actually is, and judging by how berroa is still available in many leagues, it looks like it is talking people some time to realize the same of berroa.
