Odalis just imploded in the 5th!

For those of you who own Odalis Perez this is bad news. He was cruising along until he ran into some big trouble!

He gave up 6 ER and was now relieved after pitching 4.1 innings....

He had a no-hitter through 4 followed by 5 straight hits and a pair of 3 run bombs in the 5th.

Oh yeah, one of my pitchers just blew a two run lead. Hope his offense is strong enough to overcome that....

Anyone thinking Perez's last season is just a fluke? :-) SuperGM, is he good when he was with the Braves?

Odalis is kinda like a raw diamond. He's got a lot of talent. He showed it every once in a while as a Brave. He made sure not to show it too often though, if you know what I mean. Last season wasn't entirely a fluke. He has the potential to do that again, he just needs to work hard at it and I don't think he's willing to do that. Í think he's taking things for granted this year...He needs to keep on working though....

Those are my thoughts on Odalis Perez. We definately got the better end of the Sheffield deal! ;-D

I agree! :-)

Afterall, Perez still shows some signs that he can be dominant this year. But, he was very inconsistent ... :-D This diamond still needs a lot of polishing.

More like a raw egg. When he cracks, he just oozes all over the place. You can also scramble, whip, or fry him. He has been a huge disappointment even without run support. He would suck on the redsox!

JDH, do YOU still love this guy? LOL

that's what he's done all season. someone was thinking of picking him up and i was like nooooo!

methinks he's out of shape; he consistently wears down in the 4th or 5th.
