Yahoo player eligibility

Postby WharfRat » Thu Jul 31, 2003 6:12 pm

How many games does a guy have to play before Yahoo makes him eligible for a new position? I ask because Nevin is riding the pine because I have Lowell and Chavez playing ahead of him, but I noticed he played right field today. My OF is thin as hell--I'd love to get him in there, rather than trying to trade Lowell.

What was it, 15 consecutive games at one position? something like that. He should be eligible to play outfield soon

That's correct. It's a pain, because a guy can play 42 games in the OF and not be eiligible. 14 in left, 14 in right, 14 in center, and he still wouldn't be eligible in the OF until he played that 15th game in one position.

We will have to call the manager to let him play one more OF in that case! :-)

For Yahoo it simply has to be games played. Not sure about ESPN.
