Willis and Webb? The surprising Royals? Mike All-Star Williams?

How about Rod Beck? From a trailer behind the park in Iowa to 14 straight saves in San Diego... Unbelievable. ;-D

I gotta go with the Royals. They've been bad for so long, it's a great story now that they're winning like they are. My first impulse is to go with Willis & Webb, but it seems that every year there's a Willis/Prior type.

I'm going with the Tigers and their quest for the most losses since the Amazin' Mets.

id have to say royals, they sucked big time last year and didnt know where they were goin, but even though i dont think they will make the playoffs, they have completely turned around with mike sweeney on the bench. pretty amazing

I will go with the all last at-bat wins that the reds have had. I know I am biased on this one being from Cincy, but hey that is really one of the few bright spots that we have had this year and boy have each one of them been exciting. Then we had our firesale. Shameful.

gotta be willis, if for no reason other than the fact that he's getting people excited about baseball again. also, i think the marlins in general have been a better story this year than the royals.

I'd have to say the Royals too. At the beginning of spring training I was fully convinced that the Royals would finish last or near last in their division again. But to my suprise they started out really hot in April and managed to stay up there in may too. I was thinking the whole time, they've got to start to go down any day now. It's the frickin' Royals for crissake! But, they kept themselve in 1st! And they have my full respect for that now!

I'll vote for Trader Jack turning the Marlins around seemingly over night.
