moss is a mistake to give up.. i don t see that as an improvment

big moves for giants, pitching is even stronger, i think ponson will excel at pitcher friendly pac bell. ;-D

Those that arent in the bay area dont understand.

Ainsworth and Moss are aces in the making.

I like Ainsworth a lot. I guess with this trade, the Giants are admiting they don't have a lot of time left with the players they have, so it's WS this year or bust.

personally, i don't think its a bad deal. ainsworth is an average pitcher, and moss - despite all the wins - wasn't that great either. there's a reason why atlanta wanted to move him last year. besides, i am sure the giants will have schmidt long term, and foppert and williams are their true pitching prospects for the future anyway. i think this was a good move for them.
