Official Oswalt is evil Post

Postby easygoing » Thu Jul 31, 2003 2:01 pm

I had Oswalt on both of my fantasy teams last year and he was amazing. The Most dominant pitcher on a staff with Matt Morris. This year, on a hunch, I jumped the gun and took him the first round. I know its early for any pitcher but Schilling, Pedro, and Randy, but I felt that with the lineup (Kent, Bagwell, and Berkman) he was in for a monster, MONSTER year. I thought he had 20 game win potential with his usual Strike out per inning ratio. I am now thinking that Oswalt, who led me to win both my leagues last year, is evil and wants to destroy me. I had it between Oswalt and Pujols and it looks like I cost myself the season over that choice!!!

1st Round! 8-o Yea, I'd say you jumped the gun a little on him.

And I agree. Go apologize right now for whatever you did to make Oswalt mad. }:-)

Hey, sometimes you have to go with your gut... I mean it was after the big three were taken, in a heavy pitching draft league... still no excuse, but I was expecting Pedro numbers out of the kid!!

too bad, i would suggest lighting candles and begging for his forgiveness. Or you could just be an astros fan for life, like me.
