it seems ever year cliff floyd is usually bouncing around from team to team.. i wonder why the mets aren't try to move him, is it because of his achilles?

or maybe something in his contract like a "no trade"?

anybody from NY know anything?

Because, normally when making deals, teams are looking to get guys on the last year of their contracts for the pennant drive or maybe with one more year left. Floyd signed a big 4 year contract with the Mets last year, so even without the questions about his health, few teams would be willing to take on such a long term deal.

Plus, since Floyd is in the first year of a multi year deal, he can demand a trade at the end of this season if he is traded to another team. Why would any team want to run that risk, especially since it is no secret that Floyd may have to shut it down before the end of the year toi have surgery for his various ailments.
