Stick a fork in Oswalt, he's done!

According to rotoworld he's out at least a month. He has a severe groin injury.

He might need surgery and would be done for the entire season, if that happened. (That's the worst case scenario though)

Even if he does come back after a month, he'll have two or three starts left and who knows how good he'll be......

I guess the Astros need to get another arm before the trade deadline now!

Oswalt should just shut it down for the season, have the surgery and be ready for spring training next year.

Well, you guys were a step ahead of me: I just traded FOR him when he came off the DL the last time. Grrrrr. I lose him on contract at the end of this year, too. Didn't give up much, Adam Eaton and John Patterson on contract-- but still, Oswalt worth nothing to me now. Will probably just drop him and pick up something I can use. He's off my draft list for next year, though. Too risky. For a guy who will go that high int he draft (first or second round, the way our league is set up), I think I'll just take a good offensive player (Giles-like) and pick up another pitcher later, a Jerome Williams or Harden or something like that. Don't want to risk a high pick on Oswalt anymore.

CBS.Sportline has a non-droppable list and he is on it, so I am stuck with him. I was offered Juan-Gon for him last month too and turned it down. Oh well, I should have known better because my groin injury took over a year to completely heal.
