I wouldn't be surprised if the Red Sox are letting rumours slip about trades attempting to fool streinbrenner into taking someone they don't really want. He messed up their trade last year with Colon. I have NO idea why the Sox would want Escobar. IMO, they are just setting ol' georgie up.

Klesko to Yanks? From Insider

Jul. 31 - If the Padres do pull off the Brian Giles deal, ESPN.com's Jayson Stark is hearing they could turn around and offer Klesko to the Yankees, who are looking for a big-name outfielder. Klesko has 20 homers and 59 RBIs this season, and his on-base percentage is .352.

8-o Jeez, who aren't the Yankees or Red Sox going to get? IMO, it would be very funny if neither team actually made another trade before the deadline.
