Just curious. When you get a bad offer from another manager, do you ever call them out on it publicly in the league?

No, nobody called me on it. Someone was called out though.

Nope. I think it is bad form to discuss any trade proposal in public. It can give a serious advantage to another manager IMO.

only if private discussions accomplish nothing in terms of improving offers. no sense burning a bridge until you know nothing's going to cross it.

I hate owners that do that. I never do, I never even mention the player's names on the public message board that are being negotiated with. I don't want to compromise the other team by letting everyone else know who he wants to get rid of and what he needs and ranks low/high.
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

I won't call out an owner if a bad trade proposal is made to me. I will however make my opinion known on league boards if two other owners make a bad deal with each other.

It's really just a political move, IMO. I don't have any ethical dilemma with it, and I've used it to my advantage a few times. This is especially true when the manager offering the trade obviously did it in hopes you would accidently accept it. That's just low, and they deserve to be called out.
