Seattle blocked themselves by refusing to part with a pitching prospect. Claussen is a top prospect, but the NYY rarely trade a super stud. They usually get people to fall for the NY hype on their minor leaguers. Remember when Hensley Muelens, Russ Davis, Dangelo Jimenez, Eric Milton, Ruben Rivera, Ed Yarnall, John Ford Griffin, Juan Rivera, Nick Johnson, Marcus Thames, Sterling Hitchcock were the best thing since sliced bread?
