Dunn or Nevin?

Postby Quaker » Wed Jul 30, 2003 5:51 pm

Who should I start tonight? Dunn's been hitting well since the break, and he's playing at home. I still haven't used Nevin since he was activated.

Who do you have at third? I'd probably be leaning towards Nevin right now, but I'd prefer to play both. Nevin's been looking good since he got back and it's been noted that he's usually hot early in the season. This is April for him.

I'm not going to make any predictions tonight. After what happened last night, I'm not going to push my luck... :-b

I've got Pujols at third and Giambi at first. The spot that's up for grabs is the IF position.

Come on Super GM, after what you did last night, you've just got to keep going with it. I think you may have at least one more good pick in ya.

Ok, ok, you've convinced me....

What is it Nevin or Dunn?

Lets see, Dunn is playin @ home against Colorado and Nevin is playing Pittsburgh. If I look at the pitching matchups I'd lean towards starting Dunn.

Dunn and the Reds are playing Shawn Chacon and the Rockies. Chacon is for some strange reason horrible on the road. With Guillen gone there is no insurance for him anymore, but I think he'll be a bit better than Nevin.

Phil Nevin and the Padres are playing Kip Wells and the Pirates. Wells is due for a quality start, so I think Dunn will probably be the better choice for tonight. Plus I don't think Nevin will go deep two nights in a row...

No guarantee! :-D

Ok, well I was leaning Nevin, and had him in the lineup, but I just took him out in favor of Dunn. Does this mean that Dunn's due for a 3 HR, 9 RBI night?

I doubt it, but he might just bless you with a homer and 1 or 2 ribbies. :-D
