One question only: Do I need another closer?

Postby kaiser » Sun May 21, 2006 8:21 pm

I am leading my league, and at or near the top of almost every catagory (standard 5X5) except saves, where I have only 3 out of a possible eight points. Do I need to add a closer, or should I stand pat?

thanks for your input, and sorry for the delay.

I think you'll be fine with closers...Hoffman is extremely reliable and Nathan WILL get more opportunities. also putz seems to be handling his job really well, i think he can hold the job for the rest of the season barring injury. walker is obviously very inconsistent but you might as well be riding the wave...

if you really want a closer try making a move for f. rodriguez, he hasn't gotten many opportunities and has been struggling as of late

You can't be #1 in everything -- well, I guess you could be, but there's no need :-) Don't monkey with a winning team too much. Like mentioned, if someone really good pops up on the WW give a look. Otherwise, don't worry about it.
