Sounds a little better. See if he'll go for it. I doubt it though...

Chavez and Tejada's value increases significantly. Good for me, too, 'cause I just traded for Chavez. ;-D
I'm back. Sorta.

You can try it, but I still wouldn't give up Guillen. Franklin hasn't impressed me.

I hate you and Billy Beane :-P Who the heck is Joe Valentine? At least I've heard of Harang, but a 25 year old pitcher with a 5+ERA. Just sickening.

Yeah Pat Gillick, we can't afford to give up a pitcher of that caliber :-?

Sanchez will compete with Pujols for the Triple Crown! Didn't you know that? What ever happened to Offerman btw?

Sweet, I just traded for Tejada a few weeks ago and Guillen has been a waiver wire steal for me in that same league.

Oakland is still a pitchers park though, even with them being a 2nd half team I dont see Guillen's production going up much if at all. He wasnt exactly produceing those numbers in a lineup full of chopped liver at a hitter friendly park.

Yeah you guys are a riot :~(
:-D
We also got Ismael (Exxon) Valdez last season. I think he went back to Texas or somewhere else in obscurity. I don't know what happened to Offerman.

Sanchez is just playing SS while Carlos Guillen is on the DL. If he goes back to hitting near .300 then he might take over third base for Cirillo, but I'd rather see Aaron Boone or even Tony Bautista, both of which were mentioned last night in the pre game show. Though I wouldn't have high hopes for Bautista hitting homeruns in Safeco Field.

great gretzky wrote:what kind of effect will that have on his fantasy stats? i traded for him like a week ago or so. A's have some nice bats ready to awaken now. But, he is in unfamiliar towns, stadiums and facing unknwon pitchers.

It probably isn't going to be great for his fantasy stats, since he had more lineup protection in Cincy (at least before they raid the team) early in the year with Boone, Kearns, Griffey, Casey, etc. Also, GAB is a very hitter friendly park while Oakland Colliseum is a great pitcher's park, so expect his batting average, homers, and runs scored to go down at least slightly.
