2/2 so far tonight, a HR and 3 RBI's...

This kid's quietly been putting up some respectable numbers since he came up...just in the last month:

GP AB R HR RBI SB AVG
24 84 15 4 16 0 .274

Most everyone prolly knows about him already, but if not, and you're in a keeper league, definitely snag 'im if he's not already taken ;-D

He's on fire tonight. The Marlins are still looking to replace him though. Either Rondell White, Raul Mondesi or Reggie Sanders....We'll see

Actually, they're not looking to replace him if he keeps this up. In fact, I presume they will not make a deal for a new LF and that Cabrera stays hot.

I was thinking about dropping Teixeira for him.

I probably should wait till after the trade deadline

yeah, hes been great....check out his july stats after tonight

.325 Avg, 5 HR, 19 RBI, 9 bb, 14 k

I dont see why the fish would wanna add a LF if he's producing like this.

His value is still limited in yahoo leagues where hes only eligible at OF.

I'm also thinking of dropping Teixeira, I've been getting the feeling he's not quite worth the trouble this year despite his 3 position eligibility. Hinske's now hitting 2nd in front of Wells and Delgado and he's available as a free agent in my league so I think that move will be made quite soon

I finally dropped Everett for him. He's hot, and riding hot streaks is what this game is all about.

he may not be a huge fantasy contributer right now, but down the road this guy is going to be a super stud. i'd grab him asap in any keeper league

Safe to say the Marlins may have just shifted their attention from a vet OF for the stretch run to a vet 1B. Could it be the Viagara man makes a return to his native Florida?
