Yes, that was horrible. I was absolutely shocked he was left in for the 8th. Although his pitchcount wasn't entirely high, he had labored through a few innings, and was probably spent, especially following up a CG. Maybe Bowa's logic was that Casey and Dunn, 2 of the 3 batters coming up, were lefties. However, both had seemingly had good cuts off Wolf in the past and today. What gets me is if you have Cormier warming anyways, why not pitchhit for Wolf in the top half and bring in Cormier anyways. Does he have that much lack of faith in his pen, that he'd misuse Wolfman like that? Inexcusable if you ask me.
