he is inconsistent. i have seen him pitch twice, both times he was awful. fat pitches showing up in the wrong counts, rushes his delivery when the pressure's on...but on television, i have seen him pitch brilliantly.

maybe if i stop going to the games he pitches, then his poorer performances will be less frequent. i think i make him nervous.

yeah, yes...

I'd say dud. He'll pitch an occasional good game, but when he's off he can be lit up.

Dud. He can't pitch himself outta a box (I know it doesn't make sense).

Probably not a dud, definitely not a stud. Somewhere in between if he can stay healthy.

Dammit... i asked that question so i could decide whether to drop a player for Acevedo against the Mets... Now i'm unsure if i wanna pick him up against his next scheduled game vs the Rockies or Giants... i am in desperate need of a good starter and think i'm gonna take a chance on this guy.

If you need pitching, he is worth a shot. I DON'T need pitching, and I grabbed him.

Most of the 'dud' replies with no info would have said the same thing about Willis or Webb after their first 2 or 3 games.

So far....STUD! You probably wouldn't own a Willis in an active league if you weren't willing to take a chance on a young pitcher doing well. The thing that scares me the most, is him pitching at home. That is the biggest concern I'd have starting him short term. I'd want to see success for a few games at home.

I don't know a whole lot about him, but he has to grab your attention at this point.
