Do you ever pitch your fantasy stud vs. your fav. RL team?

i got Halladay on the hill tonight vs. the Nation and i'm quite torn on the matter. i know you have to pitch your studs but now i'm required to hope that my team loses or at least doesn't beat my pitcher too badly. what do you all do in this situation?

Root for your team to win 1-0 with a run in the 9th off some reliever.

My favorite team is my fantasy team.

One time I benched Payton Manning vs. the Pats. But I actually had good reason, because up to then he had sucked against them.

I was actually just pondering this earlier today though. What happens when RJ faces the Sox? I mean, not only is it against my team, but it's the Yankees! :-t :-o

Let my pitcher win that 1 game. I know my Astros arent going to go undefeated. As long as they lose against my pitchers, and win against everybody else, it's cool ;-D

Start them: just don't root against your team. Bad karma. Bad mojo.

I wroter an article for the cafe about a year ago on this ilema, in never got published for some reason (probobly because it slightly looked down on FBB as opposed to real baseball). The title was "Pick Your Poison".

Start your pitchers against your teams, and please, PLEASE root for your team to win. I don't care how much you need the win, this is fantasy. Your REAL team needs the win more. That shows what type of fan you are.

If that does not suit you, then at least think of it as you win either way. One of your teams will benefit no matter what the outcome is.
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

It doesn't even have to be a stud to start against my favorite RL team. As long as the guy has a pulse and a fastball that goes over the neighborhood speed limit, I'll start him. Go Royals!
