Interesting...

Arizona Cardinals receiver Anquan Boldin is scheduled to take batting practice with the team (Arizona Diamondbacks) Thursday.

It used to be: "Bo knows..."
It will now be: "Boldin knows..."

Islanders goaltender Rick DiPietro took batting practice with the Mets earlier in the season. MLB must have some cross-sport promotion going on. Anyway, there's some video of him launching a few HRs out of Shea. Only BP but pretty funny.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Delhomme had substantially more than Boldin. I don't think a little HR Derby with aluminum bats constitutes a MLB tryout.

I go to the CWS every year (Omaha) and it's a lot of fun to watch the ball ping off those bats. Really good baseball. ;-D

A lot of guys do this. I have heard tales of Mr. Hockey himself, Gordie Howe, impressing AL Kaline with his power.
