You're right. It was ignorant to dismiss Arod's chances that casually. He's had a couple spikes in his BA over the years that don't fit into his career patterns. But that's the way a lot of guys win batting titles. He's certainly a stronger possibility for a Triple Crown than anyone but Pujols.

But I still think Arod ain't gonna be challenging for any more batting crowns. ;-)
