Astros offense for real?

Last year they were really bad, ranking the the bottom half of the NL in just about every offensive category. So far this year only the Reds and Rockies are hitting better. Now I'm pretty sure Ausmus won't keep his OBP over .450 all year :-D but does a healthy Berkman make that big of a difference? The only real difference in the lineup from last year is P. Wilson and he isn't doing so well.

They aren't going to stay this hot but and they going to be one of the top 5 offenses in the NL?

Improved from last year, but not yet an elite offense.

Dont forget Ensberg, he has been a monster so far this year. What kind of stats do you see him putting up this year, cordscords?

I think they've had like 16 of their first 21 games at home. That might have something to do with it. Let's see how they produce on the road trip coming up.

Inn 05, Berkman missed all of April and didn't really get comfortable until June. He is the key to their offense as he seems to do something every game. He is on pace to have the best season since 2002.

Not a chance. He's netted 500+ ABs since he became a full time player in 2001 and last year was the only time he was hurt for a sustained amount of time. Even then he came back and put up great numbers. He's poised for another productive year.
