Slow starts - when do we get concerned?

There are many guys starting off slow when do we begin to worry?
Is it time to worry about guys like:
Sexsom
Furcal
Schmidt
Crosby
Wilkerson
Floyd
Just to name a few.
Do we ride out these slumps or look to make a change?

Sexsom -- Don't worry about HR and RBI
Furcal -- Don't worry
Schmidt -- Worry some
Crosby -- Worry some
Wilkerson -- Worry
Floyd -- Worry
Just to name a few.
Do we ride out these slumps or look to make a change?

GTWMA had suggested mid-May would be reasonable but I'm already sweating Sexsy and have dumped Wilkerson for Rios. I think that when you are dealing w/ the 20ish HR OF, churning can work for you. ;-D

I don't think people should be concerned about Sexson's performance at all. The magazines and mocks kind of overhyped him (38th overall in my league :-? ). His average sucks and everyone who picked him should have known that. It's entirely possible that he finishes the season at .250 so he's not that far off there.

RBI wise, he's off to a slow start but he's still on pace for about 106. I think he's still a lock to hit 40. All he has to do is go on a tear. I know it's a small sample to be extrapolating from, but I wouldn't be concerned about Sexson's performance if I owned him. I'd be more concerned about wasting an early pick on him. I'd be even more concerned that his left shoulder was completely rebuilt just 2 years ago.
