Should have saw my post from 2 days ago titled "P-Sean Marshall???" that got zero responses.

That would've been nice. Why dont you send out PM"s to everyone at the cafe saying you've started a very important thread next time? Save us all a lot of stress. Something to think about. ;-)

Super sleeper may be a reach ..

I mean sure he has a few nice matchups in May against some weeker opponents, but he will be opposing some fairly decent pitchers too, not to mention any possible reshuffling of the rotation.

A) Wood and Prior are obviouslly the wild card here.
B) Maddux generally likes to pitch on 4 days regardless of the 5th starter ..
so, either of those two factors could cause a reshuffling of the rotation.

this is what I have via Rototools after I took out all of the splits ..

Thanks Phillie ;-D There's really no harm in rolling the dice on him as your fifth starter. Hopefully A-Ram can contribute to the Sean Marshall Win fund in May.

Prior
Zambrano
Wood
Maddux

What am I missing here? Don't the cubs need a 5th starter? It's not going to be Jerome Williams or Glendon Rusch.

I already have Marshall in my NL only league. The schedule looks great and his bad ERA is luck driven, just check out his whip if you need proof.

They gotta favor Guzman in the future over Marshall, imo.

Right now Marshall looks like the real deal and he's a lefty, something the rotation is lacking. I don't see him losing his job to Guzman who doesn't look ready. Now, maybe Rich Hill will light it up and then we'll have something to talk about.

It's worth keeping in mind that Marshall beat out Hill, Guzman, et al for the job on opening day, and he's done nothing since to hurt his status.

Unless he melts down, his biggest danger might be having Prior, Wood and Miller all simultaneously healthy ... at which point, of course, Satan will be hosting his first annual snowman-building competition.
